Bridging Borders to Combat Violence Against Women

We began the "Bridging Borders to Combat Violence Against Women (VAW)" project last August 2024, with a purpose to equip young leaders in rural communities with the knowledge and tools to combat violence against women.

The project connected 16 women with 3 experienced U.S. women leaders enabling cross-cultural insights and support to address VAW. The women leaders engaged with more than 600 youth and women in their local communities through innovative outreach initiatives. We've made many new friends, and the entire experience has been incredibly enriching. It's left us with a feeling of optimism and hope as we see another generation of leaders making changes in their community.
